We hosted the artists of the Kultúrvágány art colony
A new art colony of contemporary artists was launched in Balatonfüred in spring 2024. To our great pleasure, the artists were hosted by Boutique Hotel Annuska during the event.
Balatonfüred offers many exhibition opportunities for artists (Vaszary Villa, Zsdrál Gallery, Modern Studio), and it was thought that in the long term there might be a need for an art colony that would provide creative opportunities. Thus, in spring 2024, the new Kultúrvágány artists’ colony for contemporary artists was launched.
The Boutique Hotel Annuska was delighted and enthusiastic to support the artists’ work by hosting them for a week. We have tried to provide a supportive environment, an inspiring environment and a relaxed atmosphere for the artists to express themselves in their work.
It is planned to hold the art camp twice a year, in the autumn and spring seasons. In spring 2024, 10 artists will have the opportunity to stay at the Annuska Hotel and work in studios during the art camp. Zsombor Barakonyi, Kata Bereczki, Linda Bodoloczki, Annamária Gáspár, Ágnes Hardi, Fruzsina Kun, Tibor Iski Kocsis, Márton Romvári, János Saxon-Szász, Gáspár Szőke were guests of the hotel for a week. The artists will organize an exhibition of the works of art created during the art camp.
